Oh how I love Christmas shopping! Seriously, I do. Finding that perfect gift, wrapping it with beautiful paper and strategically placing it under the glowing tree. Ahhhhhh.
I love to give gift baskets too. Personally, I think it’s fun to look through them to see what the gift giver has purchased to represent you. I love the many ways to display gifts in baskets or decorative boxes. It’s so much fun to me!
This year I am Cooper and Elsa’s room mom. To my utter surprise and happiness, I have learned that this puts me in charge of teacher gifts! Can you say “gift basket”? There are 3 teachers that all of the kids adore so I want to make sure that each of them feel special when they look through their baskets.
Here are some of the fun they will be receiving (I also bought some items for myself)…
I saw these baskets at Kirkland’s. I had a reward coupon so the 3 baskets didn’t cost anything.
Petal Pallette Mugs from Anthropologie. $10. The kids go to a nature preschool so the beauftiful painted florals on these mugs were perfect.
Mini Capri Blue Jar Candle from Anthropologie. $12. These candles smell amazing and perfect for a cozy night at home.
Trader Joe’s Sipping Chocolate. $3.99. Adult hot chocolate meant for sipping. The flavors are similar to what you would find in European cafes. Yup, bought myself one!
Trader Joe’s Candy Cane Green Tea. $1.99. I buy everything peppermint this time of year and this was no exception. A mix of decaffeinated green tea leaves, blended with vanilla bean, cinnamon, roasted chicory, and peppermint. Sounds heavenly.
Trader Joe’s Winter Wake Up Tea. $2.49. From the rich, strong base of black tea to the taste of cinnamon and orange peel, a bit of licorice, a kick of ginger, and the sweet, warm flavors of cloves, this will be your new favorite, cozy tea.
Trader Joe’s Rainbow of Honey. $9.99. I couldn’t pass this up! This gift set was only $9.99 and contains six- four ounce jars. The flavors are amazing: clover honey, sunflower honey, orange blossom honey, eucalyptus honey, macadamia honey and mimosa honey. Yum!
Charity Pot by Lush. $7.95 for 1.7oz. With a floral perfume of ylang ylang and rosewood oils in a hydrating cocoa butter base, Charity Pot will leave your skin subtly perfumed and super soft!
With every purchase of Charity Pot, they donate 100% of the price (minus the taxes) to small grassroots organizations working in the areas of environmental conservation, animal welfare and human rights.
I will also be adding an Amazon gift card so they can choose some fun items for themselves. I hope they enjoy their baskets!
