Day 7 was a chilly, fall festival day and this drink was the perfect ending to a day spent outside.
The spices in this drink warm your insides and make you want to cuddle under a comfy blanket and watch fall harvest Hallmark movies!
2 oz bourbon
2 T canned pumpkin (or fresh puree)
2 T fresh lemon or orange juice
1 t agave nectar
1/8 t grated fresh ginger
1/8 t ground nutmeg
Pinch ground allspice
3 oz ginger beer
1 cinnamon stick (optional)
1. In a coctail shaker, combine all ingredients up to the ice cubes. Cover and shake vigorously.
2. To serve, strain the cocktail into a rocks glass with ice. Stir in the ginger beer. To feel super festive, garnish with a cinnamon stick.
