Books of January

Can you believe that January is over?  I sure can’t!

Winter finally hit here this month with snow and some bitter cold, but I have a feeling in my old bones that more is coming.

I could probably accomplish more in my life if I weren’t so in love with books!  After the kids go down for the night, I’m usually right behind them, cozying up to a good book all snuggled in my bed.

I make sure the dishes are done or the dishwasher is running and most things are cleaned up, but I could get a lot more done if I didn’t lay in bed for 2 – 3 hours every night reading!

It’s one of my favorite things in the world to do. Here is a list of all the books I read last year.  A bunch and I loved them all!

I started the year out strong and made a dent in my goal of 55 books (both read and Audible).

Here is what I read this month:

The Home for Unwanted Girls – Joanna Goodman

The War That Saved My Life – Kimberly Brubaker Bradley

The War I Finally Won – Kimberly Brubaker Bradley

The Orphan Train – Christina Baker Kline

The Rain Watcher – Tatiana de Rosnay

Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less – Greg McKeown

Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Purpose – Joe Biden
