Garbage Disposal Bombs

I always forget about the garbage disposal when I clean.  The darn thing doesn’t let me forget for long!

Garbage disposal bombs are an easy way to clean AND deodorize your disposal. Once in a while I would throw lemon remnants down the disposal and it would smell good, but wasn’t getting cleaned.

These bombs have baking soda and salt which help to loosen and dissolve the stuck on gunk that gets trapped in there.

Mix all the ingredients together.  You want the consistency of wet sand.

You can use a spring-loaded ice cream scoop or a tablespoon to shape the bombs.  Line them up on a parchment lined cookie sheet and let them sit for 24 hours to dry out.

Place them in a jar to store!  They will easily keep for months!

When you are ready to use them, throw one or two in the disposal while the warm water is running and leave the disposal on for a minute or two (with the water still on).

Your disposal will smell amazing AND actually be clean!
